So, Do Hair Growth Supplements Actually Work?

Hair supplements are not the silver bullet solution. Some may help, in the right situation, especially if the body is low in a key nutrient, but that doesn’t mean they’ll work the same for everyone with shedding or thinning.

Hair changes happen for lots of reasons

Stress, hormonal changes, low levels of nutrients, problems with the scalp or other health issues. That is why one ingredient may be helpful to one person and not do much to another.

Always check out hair supplement claims

Many ingredients are marketed with a simplicity and certainty that can be misleading, when the actual situation is more complex. Some have a role in hair care but they’re not automatic fixes.

Knowing what an ingredient really does, and when it may or may not be helpful, can make it easier to choose products with a more discerning eye, and focus on support that meets your hair’s actual needs.
